Off-the-shelf assessments can provide good insights into candidate/participant capability in recruitment and development interventions in situations where specific cultural characteristics or professional standards dictate the definition of a good performance. However, a theoretical definition of good is not the best assessment criteria in all situations and often a bespoke approach is required.
In such circumstances STMS will work with you to develop a fully bespoke assessment item bank. Working together, we will agree the use of an appropriate format of questions which are preference, knowledge or situational judgement based. We use a robust subject matter interview and research process, based on information collection, item writing, trialling and validating processes that provides confidence in the ultimate application of the information collected.
